  • Welcome to my practice! I’m honored you chose to work with me.

    I will be communicating with you about your session, your arrival and the details you need as soon as you book with me.

    Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. You will be filling out a short intake form that includes questions about your general contact info, your health history, allergies, concerns, etc.

    Wear comfortable, loose clothing if you are receiving reiki energy healing. Wear clothes that are easy to remove if you are receiving a massage.

    Avoid difficult-to-remove jewelry and heavy makeup.

    Please don’t arrive wearing a lot of strong perfume or cologne.

    You are more than welcome to bring a snack with you if desired. I have water available, as well as hot teas.

    You can expect a peaceful, mostly quiet space with ambient music, candles, gentle lighting.

    Your privacy is always respected.

    There is a restroom available at all times for your convenience and comfort.

    I operate on my home property, so please enter and exit with care to respect my family and neighbors.

  • All sessions require a $50 non-refundable deposit upon booking. The remaining balance will be due at the time of service. Deposits can be made through the scheduling portal, or over the phone.

  • Please always plan to arrive at least a few minutes early to your scheduled time. Arriving late to your scheduled appointment will result in a shortened service. Payment will not be prorated for shortened sessions due to your late arrival time. If you know you are going to be late due to unforeseen circumstances, please call immediately so I can try to rearrange things on my end. I cannot guarantee this, however.

  • You must give at least 48 hours notice cancellation to avoid being charged the full amount of your booked session. This ensures that I have enough time to fill your spot and avoid loss of income. Thank you for your courtesy.

    No shows will be charged the full amount of their scheduled service. Repeated no shows will result in being terminated from my practice.

  • I understand that sudden events happen. If you find yourself coping with an emergency, a sudden illness or catastrophe that prevents you from attending your scheduled session, please inform me as soon as you can.

  • You must agree to the following:

    • you will never arrive to your session under the influence of any drug or alcohol

    • you will honor your scheduled session time and do your best to arrive at least 5 minutes early to settle in and be fully present

    • you will contact me immediately if you know you will be late or unable to attend your session due to an emergency or sudden illness.

    • you will be truthful & communicate with me about what is and is not working for you within the session

    • you will pay the deposit at the time of booking and pay the remaining balance due upon completion of service

    • you understand and agree that missed services will be charged in full

    • you will not make inappropriate comments, innuendos, off-color jokes or otherwise hint at or solicit any sort of sexual encounter via text, email, over the phone or in person, period. If you do, the session will be terminated immediately, you will be required to leave the premises, and you will be banned from my practice permanently. I have a zero tolerance policy for this behavior.

  • I will always behave in a respectful way toward your feelings, your body and your goals for wellness.

    I will always behave in a safe manner, honoring your space, asking your permission before I begin a massage or other therapeutic service.

    I will either adjust my pressure or stop working immediately if you are experiencing any discomfort and need me to change how I am working with you.

    I will not take your feedback offensively. I want to know how best to work with you, and promise to listen and accommodate your requests within reason and my ability to do so.

    I will communicate clearly with you regarding my limitations & practice restrictions based on our conversations and your goals.

    I promise to hold the space reverently so you are given the maximum grace and gentle presence to hear, see and experience what you need to for healing.


FAQ’s

What kind of massage therapy do you offer?

I can provide relaxation, deep tissue, prenatal (and postnatal), oncology, end-of-life, and many more types and modalities of massage therapy and intuitive touch. I have some training in visionary craniosacral technique (as taught by Hugh Milne) and Jin Shin Do acupressure energy work (as taught by Iona Marsaa Teeguarden), and the vast majority of my sessions include both traditional massage and some energy work techniques as that feels most natural to me and has proven to be extremely effective and soothing to clients on the table.

How long are sessions?

You can schedule sessions for 30, 60, 90 or even 120 minutes! This is available for massage, energy work and tarot appointments. Mentoring appointments have set times. If you’re unsure of what would be best for you, let’s chat! You can email or call me with your specific questions or concerns. I’m happy to help you find your perfect session match.

What are your prices?

I offer massage, energy work, tarot sessions & mentoring. Prices listed below reflect only massage/reiki services. Tarot, mentoring and my other offerings are priced differently. You can see those details here (tarot), here (mentoring) & here (online courses). You will need to provide a valid credit card number and pay a non-refundable $50 deposit upon booking your session with me. That $50 will be deducted from your session cost at the time of checkout. If you are booking yourself online, you will be required to pre-pay for your session. Refunds (minus the $50 non-refundable deposit) are only available if you cancel your session at least 48 hours prior to your appointment start time.

Here are the session costs:

  • 30 minute sessions: $50

  • 1 hour sessions: $80

  • 90 minute sessions: $120

  • 2 hour sessions: $170

What is the strange angel fund?

When you pay anything more than the session cost, (formerly known as a gratuity or tip) that amount goes directly into the Strange Angel Fund - a program that offers greatly-reduced or free massage therapy, reiki or tarot guidance to a woman experiencing financial hardship. You get to become a ‘strange angel’ to women who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access my work. You can also donate directly to the fund if you’d like!

What about tips?

I do not pocket gratuities for my work. Anything *extra* you decide you’d like to give me (thank you so much!) will be delivered into the Strange Angel Fund in its entirety. I have priced the lowest tier of my sliding scale appropriately to meet my family’s financial needs. Anything beyond that needs to find its way to helping others, and the Strange Angel Fund will accomplish this. My time and labor will be compensated, more people will receive safe, skilled bodywork and you will be blessed for sharing what you have with others that don’t have the same resources. We all win.
